Hello from the Beach!
Her we go:
These are pictures from a beach in Malibu called Las Matador Beach. It was a long walk down there, but an even LONGER walk back up! Take a look and tell me if you think it was worth it, lol !
So, what do you think? The water was COLD, but don't think that stopped me from sticking my feet in! I am here visiting my best friend, Becky and she is the one in these pictures with me. :)
Next time I'll try to post a few photos of my do it yourself SMASH book! I've been really pleased with it so far and I can't wait for you to see some of it. :)
Keep it real people and keep it royal!

Hello VACATION!
Hi there queenies. This morning I am flying to California for two weeks! I am excited to be going but this will make it a bit harder to post as regularly as I usually do.
On a scrappy note, I have created my own little SMASH-like book for the trip and I hope to post some pictures of that along the way!
Right now I am waiting out a delay in the Dallas airport.
See:
Later queenies!

PMS Digital Makeover Challenge #4–Size Matters
Good day! I am very excited to bring you another inspiration card for the PMS Digital Makeover Challenge!
The rules are simple: make a creation using a digital stamp and make sure it follows the week’s challenge! Up for grabs we have three single digis of your choice (or five if you use a PMS image!).
I love what this challenge guided me toward. I’ve never done this with a digi stamp. I actually cropped it and printed it on the RIGHT side of the paper so I could cut the cardstock and fold it into a card with the stamp on the card base. I’m very happy with the result:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stamp: Paper Makeup Stamps: Dandy Wishes | Copics | Prima Ribbon | The Paper Studio: Gem, Cardstock
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entered In:
Allsorts: Keep it Simple
Alphabet Challenge: Quick and Simple
Fussy and Fancy: New Technique (I’ve never positioned and printed a digi onto the card base)
Crafty Ribbons: Anything Goes
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for taking a look! I always love to hear what you have to say!
And remember friends, it is so GOOD to be queen.

My Mind’s Eye
I got two new 6x6 pads of My Mind’s Eye paper and I decided to give them a little love today with the sketch off the MME blog. Yeay!
Here we are, simple, but I like it:

I generally like to change up a sketch and give it my own spin, but before I knew it, this one was almost done and I had stuck to the sketch like Glue dots!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

PMS Digital Makeover Challenge #3–Use Fabric
Hello people!
I am proud to bring you another week of Paper Makeup Stamps’ Digital Makeover Challenge!
The rules are simple: make a creation using a digital stamp. Up for grabs we have three single digis of your choice (or five if you use a PMS image!).
Maybe something like this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am very excited about the way the coloring came out on this one. I masked the top and bottom and stamped the script onto the bodice, then I did the shading in violet Copics. Finally I inked over the whole thing with Distress Ink which really changed the look of the shading in a way that I love! Isn’t that corset digi just to die!?!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stamps: Paper Makeup Stamps: Oo La La Corset; Stampabilities: French Script | Copics | Distress Ink | DSP: K & Company | Flowers: Prima | Spellbinders: Labels 10 | Fabric Central: Skinny Strips (green) | Recollection: Pearls | Satin ribbon
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entered in:
The Squirrel and the Fox: Anything Goes
One Stop Craft: Girlie
Totally Gorjuss: Anything But Square
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks so much! I’d love to hear what you think about this one!
P. S. I am stoked to announce that I have been selected to serve on the Scrapmaster’s Paradise Color Combo DT! I am so, SO excited and cannot wait to start. I know I’m going to love it as much as I love designing for PMS Digital Makeover! Thank you to all my commenters and followers – your encouragement helps keep my passion alive and my confidence up!

PMS Digital Makeover Challenge #2–Sketch
Good day all! Today is the start of another Paper Makeup Stamps Digital Makeover Challenge! Here’s the sketch:
I really wanted to show the sizing versatility of digis so I sized-up this little cutie – Tina – and cropped her into more of a bust. I love the way character digis look using this method.
Here she is:
In person the wings are very sparkly, but I just couldn’t get it to photograph. There are also Stickles on all the yellow accents in her jacket which you can see a little bit better.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stamps: Paper Makeup Stamps “Tina”, Cloud9 Design “Happy Birthday” | Coloring: Colored Pencils | DSP: Prima “Baby Boy” Precious, Anna Griffin | Stickles | American Crafts Glitter Pen |Martha Stewart Edger Punch: fancy scallop | Dollar flowers | Dollar gems

Basic Grey DT Submission #3–A Little Something Card (SGC)
Hello! A quick post before I go do my first shoebox swap!
I was so IN LOVE with August’s Deconstructed Sketch that I used again for this card (I used it for an Odd Girl card as well!).
I love, love, LOVE the Basic Grey Pops that I got to use on this card. They layer up with each other PERFECTLY! I realized that I had tons of Kioshi embellishments and only one piece of Kioshi cardstock so I REALLY stretched it (with help from the flipside of a Nook and Pantry paper “Waffles”). I also see that this card goes pretty well with the Southern Girls Challenge and Blog Hop!
Take a Look:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entered in:
Basic Grey: Design Team Submission
Southern Girls Challenge: Lots of layers and/or Birthday card (I would probably use this as a birthday card.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have a good day everyone! If you feel like it, please leave a comment! I love them.
It’s so GOOD to be a queen, isn’t it?

Basic Grey DT submission #2–Merry Christmas
Here is the second of my posts showing my Basic Grey submissions. Today is a Christmas card I made using Jovial.
I am really in love with the Basic Grey Bloomers here:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I love, love, LOVE the way the bloomers look all piled on like that and the Jovial stack is very versatile – there are reds and greens in there but also a healthy dose of blues and whites and I love the way they all work together!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entered In:
Basic Grey Challenges: Celebrations
Basic Grey: Design Team Call
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you take a look at her feel free to comment! I would love to hear what you think!
Thanks for looking and remember, it’s GOOD to be queen!

PMS Digital Makeover Challenge #1–Color Combo!
Good day all! I am overjoyed to be able to bring you my first post as a DT member for Paper Makeup Stamps’ Digi’ Makeover Challenge!
The challenge this week is to use the PMS store colors! Pinks, Greys, black, and white. The Prize is 3 single PMS digis (5 if you use a PMS digital stamp!).
I realize now that I REALLY should have LOOKED at the blog before I did my card because my colors are quite a bit more bold than the actual PMS store colors…but I’m so happy with the design and I really wanted to use that particular stamp set with that shiny lips paper! So, I did more of the Pinks, Black and white and not really grey, oops!
Ok, here she is:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stamps: Paper Makeup Stamps (Digital): Sending You Love , Framed | DSP: DCWV: Rockstar Stack, Glitter Stack (big scallops) | Cardstock: Recollections | Jewels: The Paper Studio: loose gems; Recollections: jewel trim in a roll | Pen: Martha Stewart: Glitter Pen (pink)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entered in:
Scrappy Frogs: Time for Some Bling
Sweet Stampin: Anything but Birthday
Wee Memories: Simply Sentiments
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks so much for looking! (I love comments!)
This was supposed to be an auto post, but it didn’t work! Sorry it took me so long to get it posted!
Check back soon because I will be posting another one of my Basic Grey DT submissions and I would love to hear what you think of it!
Keep it royal queenies…it’s so GOOD to be us!

Basic Grey DT Submission #1 (Chi Town Mini Book)
So, the BG design team call ended today. I have a long 15 days to wait for the announcement! So, I want to share with you the projects that I’ve made in the last week for the call.
Since I stand as good a chance as anyone (I hope!) of making the team, I decided to only enter each piece in one challenge. Mostly I enter challenges for the feedback and the chance to be top 3 or 5, etc.
So, here we go:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am so so so pleased with how this photographed. It was a project that I’ve been wanting to do and when it occurred to me that BG’s line Obscure would be perfect for it I knew it had to be part of my DT submission!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Basic Grey: Obscure (DSP, Alpha Stickers, Die Cut Shapes); Origins (Alpha Stickers); Jovial (Bloomers) | SEI: Buttons, “Friends” Board Book | The Girls Paperie: Toil and Trouble (Mini letter stickers)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Entered in:
Basic Grey: DT Submission
Paper Pretties Challenge: Anything But a Card
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BY THE WAY: I am SOOO excited to be announcing that I am on the DT for Paper Makeup Stamps Digital Makeover Challenges! I will be posting my inspiration for our first challenge in just a few days so, keep coming back for more BG submission projects until then!
Ok queenies, keep it royal and cross your fingers for me!
