Good morning people!
When I start making a card or craft project I try to pick a uniting factor, for example, a paper line, a color scheme, a theme, or even a shape.
Today’s project theme: Dots
Here is a little sneak peek!

Good Morning people! Today I have a special project for you that I made using Hampton Art stamps, Clearsnap ink, and products from Scor-pal!
I really love this project. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to photograph the process of making the box, but it is relatively simple.
Trim colored cardstock to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (that is an 8 1/2 x 11 cut in half short-ways) and score at 4 1/4 to create cards. Stamp snowflakes and sentiment onto cards with matching ink to create tone-on-tone effect.
Trim and score four pieces of white cardstock to create envelopes (A2) using scor-envi attachment. See how the Scor-envi has all the measurements right on the front? It’s so easy to look at the chart for your card size and then quickly trim your paper and make your diagonal score marks! The envelopes come out perfect every time! (Finished size of envelopes: 4 3/8 x 5 3/4. Image Via Scor-pal)
Stamp “Happy Holidays” with card-coordinating ink. Stamps from “Just Add Snow” set from Hampton Art. I used the 1/4” Scor-tape to secure my envelopes because it is so strong and thin – it’s perfect for making envelopes, among other things!
Use 8 ½ x 11 cardstock to create stationary box. Trim diamond patterned cardstock to create front flap and attach to box.
(This is definitely the part I should have taken pictures of, but honestly, when I make boxes like this I hardly every have a template – I just make it up. BUT over on the Scor-pal blog there is a little stationary set almost exactly like mine, with a box made almost exactly like mine! Totally didn’t know that was going to happen, but the benefit is that I can direct you to that post at the bottom of my post! So, just keep scrolling and checking out my project and I’ll direct you over to the tutorial at the end!)
Attach ribbon to create closure. I concealed the flap-side ribbon with another piece of the diamond patterned cardstock. It gives a nice finished look and your ribbon looks really professional!
Stamp three snowflakes, fussy cut, and layer on box. Adhere jewel.
This stationary set would be perfect to give as a hostess gift on Thanksgiving – that way your hostess has holiday cards all ready if she wants to make them out the day after Thanksgiving!
I love how it all looks together – so modern and cute with all the bright colors! I hope you take out your Hampton Art winter stamps and your Scor-pal and get busy on this!

Now, onto my handmade gift idea! I found a tutorial online for a folded paper wallet that I thought would be a great idea for a gift card holder. BUT, the reason that it is a gift in and of itself, is that it can hold up to six cards and a whole lot of cash because it is shaped like a regular wallet. I am going to make these for my younger cousins. Our generation always gets lots of gift cards, money, and checks from family members and this is going to be a secure way to gather all of it up in one place and be able to keep track of it while our Christmas festivities are underway!
Here it is with a little tag and bow, finished and ready for the giving.
The “Do Not Open Until Christmas” stamp lines up with itself to create an interlocking border. I can’t wait to make a background with it!
When it is completely open, you can see that there are slits on both sides that accommodate gift cards and then there is a large pocket behind that will fit full-size bills and checks.
The tag I made used two stamps from the set. The frame originally had a different sentiment inside, but I just inked it up and wiped the original sentiment off with a baby wipe and stamped just the frame. The sentiment I wanted fit perfectly in the middle. I outlined the frame with a little bit of black marker.

Good morning! I’m so proud and happy to bring you my first post as a Craftwork Cards USA DT member! If you haven’t already, please visit the blog: HERE
I love starting out on a new DT and seeing what kinds of projects I can dream up when I’m presented with a new batch of products. For right now, I’m so new, I’m still waiting to receive my first box of goodies! But, I had some gold, textured Candi just LYING around, so I decided to break out a new (and horded) paper pad and a chipboard pack – Market Square 6x6 by Farmhouse Paper Company (love!).
I made this little book with my Zutter a while back and I was always unhappy with the way the cover came out. It was totally NOT my style. So, I took the old embellishments off and replaced it with a Market Square + Craftwork Cards Candi retro cover!
I did lots of layering with the chipboard pieces and the little elements that I cut from my paper pad. I think the Candi looks like little bubbles – I imagine them floating over a fuzzy bottle of soda purchased for a nickel at ‘Flo’s Candy Shap’ . The title “Recipes” is stamped with a 7gpsies+Hampton Art clear stamp set and Clearsnap Ink.
I already had these pretty colored pages that ended up matching better than I could have hoped!
Each Page has a recipe card stamped on it. I can’t decide whether I will keep this and fill it out, or give it away!

Hello people! I’ve been working on a blog facelift over the weekend. What do you think? It is a little easier on the eyes than my last one. : )
Today I’m bringing you two projects I have done using the KI Memories Flashback collection! It is the first new line from KI since they have become part of the Hampton Art family!
Firstly, a card:
I love the eclectic patterns of this collection! I used scraps (from the page I will show you below), one of the Flashback stamp sets (sentiment), one of the cardstock stickers (camera) and one of the glitter stickers (star).
Secondly, a layout:
I don’t really scrapbook about my own life very much and I’m trying to change that. This layout is one that I am SO happy with. It is very trendy in style, which is a look I would like to do more, but sometimes find it hard to mix products together to achieve that look. No PROMBLEM with Flashback, because everything I’ve used here is from the collection (minus the orange cardstock and ink). The papers and embellishments from this collection are varied enough to give it that trendy look, but they come all together, which gives me the confidence to use it all together! I also used lots of stamping on this page – from the camera to the title and including the little glasses in the corner – these Flashback stamp sets are MAH-velous and they work MAGIC for making embellishments on layouts.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I was SO excited to use this new collection and I think the projects came out just so COOL!
The entire flashback collections can be found on Two Peas In a Bucket!
Go get yourself some new KI Memories Flashback and get scrapping!
Keep it royal, people!
