Craftwork Cards’ Candi

Hello! Happy Halloween!
Today I want to share with you a few projects I made using Craftwork Cards Candi.
If you aren’t familiar with it, the packaging looks something like this:
Craftwork Cards - Candi - Shimmer Paper Dots - Dotty Vintage Berries Gold
I ordered some of these from sb.com a while back and have been LOVING them – then I realized my LSS had started carrying them.  Now I’m totally hooked!  I made some mod Christmas ornaments:

If you find yourself wanting to use brads but you always end up cutting the back off and sticking it on with a pop dot (like I ALWAYS do) you will LOVE Candi. : )
ModOrnaments
They are basically the head of a brad made from paper. Lightweight, durable, and super easy to use.  GENIUS!!!
Here I used them to decorate a gingerbread house on my tag:

Craftworks also makes a pop dot called Candi Fix, that is the PERFECT size to stick these beauties!

Craftwork Cards is a company based in the UK, but they are bringing their products to the USA and they are having a DT call.  It ends tonight!!!
So, wish me luck, cropstars! It would be pretty awesome to bring you more cards, layouts, and off-the-page projects using Craftwork Cards’ products.
Thanks for stopping by and remember, it’s so GOOD to be queen.

Product Swap with DCWV and Scor-pal!!!

Hello people! I have a pretty sa-WEET project to share with you today! I used my SUPER awesome scor-pal and the Autumn Melody Stack from DCWV to make this:

WallHangFinal

It is (obviously) a super LOOOONG wall hanging.  I used two dies to create the square panels.

Then I cut the letters and their shadows on the Cricut.  I used scor-tape to layer the letters.

I layered attached the letters to the panels with foam tape.  Then I created all of the flourettes using my scor-pal and the Autumn Melody embellishment flip pack.

I strung all the panels onto jute ribbon from May Arts and tied the ends to secure.

“Fabulous” Neon Chic Gift Box–DCWV

Good morning my lovely cropstars!  I have an off-the-page project to share with you today featuring a stack I am giving LOTS of love to lately – The Neon Chic Stack.

I used an up-cycled box that housed single servings of hummus. (I love up-cycling projects!)

Neon Chic Box

First I covered the box with black cardstock, then I cut the snazzy pink zebra print for all the sides.

Neon Chic Box2

There was a peek-a-boo hole in the top already, so I evened it out, added some acetate with a sentiment stamped on it and attached the splatter paper to secure the acetate.  I embellished the top with ribbon and buttons.

Neon Chic Box3

I love all the dimension the top has!

Neon Chic Box4

Lastly, I created a bow from the splatter paper, added a button and “wrapped” it in a strip of washi tape.

Neon Chic “A Game” Layout–DCWV

Hello people! I have a DCWV layout here for you today. This stack is SO cute for all your totally RAD craft projects and especially teen and boy layouts.

I chose to do a page about one of my best friends from college, Cassie and I.

The story is actually kind of funny. When we were in college we took a finance class and the teacher was ANNOYINGLY hooked on sports analogies.  She told us if we were going to come to class we had to “bring (our) A-game.”  We thought that phrase was hilarious and deserved its’ own t-shirt. This photo is a picture of us, in those t-shirts, showing how we would ‘BRING OUR A-GAME’ if asked to do so on the spot. : )

BringinMyAGame

This paper was perfect for this photo and for our personalities when we are together.  It helped me say a lot about the story and about us with just a glance. We ARE Neon Chic. : )
