DCWV – Time With You Card

Hello people! I’m here bringing today bringing you some DCWV love!  I have to admit, the stack I used for this card was one I wasn’t originally excited about, but once I pulled it out and started using it I’ve gone back to it several times!  It is one of my go-to stacks of the moment!

This stack is SO useable because it has tons of semi-solids that work great as background pages!  I LOVE using a distress-y solid base for my cards and layouts!

DCWV-TimeWYou

There is so much great potential for this stack to be matched up with other supplies and stacks of the past because the colors are very happy and ‘right now’.  This card came together so quickly because of the element sheet and the tag sheet that are included in the stack.  I cut the banner and butterfly from the element sheet and the focal image is just a tag mounted on another piece of cardstock from the stack. Easy!

DCWV-Happy Girls Layout

Hello! It is time to bring you another DCWV layout – I really LOVE this layout and this stack is one of my all-time FAVORITES!

The Sunday Afternoon Stack is just FULL of the trendy colors and images that are so popular in paper crafting right now!  Clouds, kites, washi tape, bingo cards, ticket stubs…it is a DREAM of a stack!

DCWV-HappyGirls

All the little elements on the page were cut from the element page in the stack (even the banners are from that page!)  and I was able to use the washi tape paper form the stack in coordination with some real washi – just to add texture!

Here is a close-up of the little embellishments:

Don’t you love the little playing card and the faux postage stamps?!

DCWV – Dry Erase Board

Good day people! Here to bring you another DCWV off-the-page project!
This project came together so quickly because of my (always) favorite parts of the DCWV stacks – the element sheets.

I
used a dollar store wipe board that had magnets on the back and created the frame with Whimsical World cardstock.  I added the bird, clouds, and flowers from the element sheet and created little banners from some scraps of the cardstock.  Don’t you love all that foil on the flowers!?  It’s very shiny in real life!

Hampton Art + Echo Park!

Hello paper people! Just here to let you know that Hampton Art and Echo Park Paper have teamed up for a special feature on their blogs!

HA_EP blog hop

Here is my project:

echopark

I used the EP Licensed stamp set “Sweet Girl” and Clearsnap pigment ink for my stamping.  I actually didn’t have any of the Sweet Girl collection on hand, so I headed over to JessicaSprague.com and downloaded a Sweet Girl digital paper pack.  I printed four of the sheets at 6x6 and used them on my card!

echopark2

I used the Bravissimo Slice card to create the award badge and banner, and a Fiskars’ border punch.  I used DCWV cardstock from the Brights Stack to coordinate with the Sweet Girl line.

What would a product feature be without a prize?

Giveaway: For a chance to win either a stamp prize from Hampton Art or one of three collection kits from Echo Park Paper, please continue on the blog hop leaving a comment on each blog. Winners will be selected and announced both on the Echo Park Paper and Hampton Art blogs on Monday, April 29th. All comments are due by Sunday, April 28th at midnight EDT to qualify.
Here is the blog hop list:
