Madge is trying a little something new this month: there will be a mini kit OR a classic kit available!

Classic Housecalls: (All paper is 12x12 in the classic Housecalls kit.) 11 Pieces of Paper, 1 Punch out page, 1 set of Notecards, 1 roll of Washi Tape ** Please Note the Washi Tape may vary per kit** 3 strips of Ribbon, 1 alpha set, 1 package of CANDi Minis, 1 mustache tag, mustache bag, 2 Kraft mustaches, 2 black Mustaches.

NEW! Mini kit: (Please note the mini kit all paper comes 6x12)
 12 pieces of paper, 1 mustache bag, 1 package of CANDi minis, 1 small stamp set (stamp sets may vary per kit), Ribbon 3 patterns, Mustache tag, Mustaches

Don’t you just LOVE the hat and the bow tie I made?! (You’re feeling better already, I can tell!)

I have been waiting for SO long to have a perfect opportunity to use this stamp set (from SP & Company) and it made my day when I found out this kit was going to be full of the manly ‘staches!  (I think my favorite part of this kit is the washi tape – so cute!!!)

DCWV + Therm-o-web Summer Lovin' Blog Hop!

 

Welcome to the DCWV/Therm O Web Summer Lovin’ Blog hop. 

Today, the design teams from DCWV and Therm O Web have brought together all the things we love about summer! The designers are have combined paper from DCWV’s Sunday Afternoon and Everlasting \Love stacks, together with a variety of adhesives, mists and other fantastic products from Therm O Web!

I did two project for you today, one for each of the DCWV stacks that we are featuring here on the hop!

Summer seems to be the time when everyone gets married!!  I always end up going to one or more weddings during the dog days here in Missouri.  My card features elements from the Everlasting Love Stack.  I just adore all the cut-out-able images from DCWV stacks!  Isn't that flower gorgeous(!?) - I popped it up with my Therm-o-web foam squares (which are SUPER strong!) and, I used a medium sized Zot to attach my ribbon!  I was so impressed that the bow was very securely attached with just one Zot!

 

(And now, for something completely different!)

 

 

This tag is so summer-y to me because this is the time of year when my best friend (who lives in California) comes home to visit a few times in a short period of time.  I go a pretty long stretch without seeing her and then -bam!- summer is here and it's time for her to come around again.

 

 

I used a TON of Therm-o-web on this card (foam squares, tape runner, and lots of Zots!) but the thing I love MOST about this card is the treatment I did on the doily.  See how shiny and pink it is?  I used the new Therm-o-web Glitter Dust spray on it and now I think I'm addicted!!  (It is very glittery in person and the best part is, it makes the doily STRONG and durable!)  I love that pink color - it goes perfect with The Sunday Afternoon Stack!!

DCWV – Time With You Card

Hello people! I’m here bringing today bringing you some DCWV love!  I have to admit, the stack I used for this card was one I wasn’t originally excited about, but once I pulled it out and started using it I’ve gone back to it several times!  It is one of my go-to stacks of the moment!

This stack is SO useable because it has tons of semi-solids that work great as background pages!  I LOVE using a distress-y solid base for my cards and layouts!

There is so much great potential for this stack to be matched up with other supplies and stacks of the past because the colors are very happy and ‘right now’.  This card came together so quickly because of the element sheet and the tag sheet that are included in the stack.  I cut the banner and butterfly from the element sheet and the focal image is just a tag mounted on another piece of cardstock from the stack. Easy!

DCWV-Happy Girls Layout

Hello! It is time to bring you another DCWV layout – I really LOVE this layout and this stack is one of my all-time FAVORITES! 



The Sunday Afternoon Stack is just FULL of the trendy colors and images that are so popular in paper crafting right now!  Clouds, kites, washi tape, bingo cards, ticket stubs…it is a DREAM of a stack!

 

All the little elements on the page were cut from the element page in the stack (even the banners are from that page!)  and I was able to use the washi tape paper form the stack in coordination with some real washi – just to add texture!

Don’t you love the little playing card and the faux postage stamps?!
