I'm excited to show you what I came up with!

I love it when non-traditional and traditional things are mixed together. The Jolly Whimsy Stack is the perfect example of that!  There is traditional red and shiny gold paired with trendy, fun pink and aqua.  The icons are just off-traditional and drawn in a cute, cartoon style.

I got to work with the Wave Album by Clearsnap and I love this shape!  This bubbly shape was just right for these papers!  I wanted to keep some of the album clear, so I made this porthole page, which allows you to see a SNEAK peek of the pages before and after it.  VERY easy to make with two piece of paper and a circle cutter. :)

This stack came with TONS of cut-out embellishments!  It is NO secret that I love these cut-out pages and the ones in this stack are stellar.  I was an especially big fan of the pages of large numbers and letters.  I used the candy striped letters to show the year in a big, bold statement.

I Used some dies and punches to add a little dimension to the next pages.  A little pinwheel die makes a darling focal and I used some DCWV glitter paper and a stocking punch to complete this page.

I wanted to show a little more of the clear acrylic on this page and I love the way it looks when a portion of the page  is left uncovered, so that's what I did here.  You can see the next page showing through in the close up above.

I plan on using this book for the pictures of this coming Christmas Eve.  I'm not much of a journaler, but I did mount a journaling card on the back of the book so I can include a thought or two.

Feeling inspired?

Oh Snap Birthday Card - DCWV "The Chalk Art Stack"

Good day to you! I'm making up for some lost time by spamming you with some of my latest and greatest projects.

I'm IN LOVE with this new Chalk Art Stack from DCWV.  It is a trendy, doodle-filled masterpiece and, even better, it is actually printed on DCWV's chalk paper, so you can use real chalk on your projects!

The colors in this stack are so fun and vibrant and there are lots of trendy icons like cameras, insta-frames and curly banners.

I found that white ink looks amazing on this paper, so that's what I used to make my card.

Doesn't that white ink look AMAZING!!?

Mile High Apple Pie Layout -DCWV

Hello!!I know I've been gone for a long time but I've had some bad luck with computers lately and that put me JUST a little bit behind.  But I'm making do right now and I hope to be completely back up and running with everything soon.

BUT, I have been crafting my little behind off!  Today I want to share a layout I made featuring a new fall stack from DCWV called Spiced Cider.

There is a restaurant here where I live called The Blue Owl that is famous for their pies.  Last year at thanksgiving we had one of their most delicious pies: the Mile High Apple Pie. Sounds awesome, right?  Wait till you see it!

I loooove the cut-out ephemera from this stack!  The patterns on this stack are so pretty and many have glitter treatments and, though I'm not always a big fan of the photo-real papers, this stack DOES have some really nice ones.

Spooky Halloween Village - DCWV "Spookytime"

Hello my fine and fancy friends!  I'm here today to bring you some last-minute Halloween decor inspiration featuring The Spookytime Stack from DCWV!

Take a look:

s

I had recently procured some amazing 3D cutting files from the Silhouette store and I was SUPER excited about creating a SPOOKY little Halloween village!

I used both the 12x12 and 6x6 paper stacks to complete my village along with some sweet (!) Halloween stamps and some Stampin Up! markers.

This country house is my favorite of all the files because of the cute little window on the top. See the spiderweb through the shutters?

I have lots of DCWV embellishments left from last year's collections and I put them to good use on all my buildings.  Here's a tip: see the rickety awning on the short, orange schoolhouse?  I  used the positive leftovers from the country house's windows  to create that wonky purple awning!

Do you make decorations for Holidays using your DCWV stacks?  Tell me what you made and what stack you used in the comments section!

Cosmo Cricket Mini - TSQ & The Royal Castle Shoppe

Hello lovelies!  It's time again for another project I created with items available from Theresa The Scrapbooking Queen at her Royal Castle Shoppe!

I wanted to show you the awesome things you can do with an amazing little tool from We R Memory keepers - the Envelope Scoring Board!  I decided to make a cool mini album using some royal buttons and a CUTE Cosmo Cricket collection, Summer Love!

I also used some SUPER cute buttons that are available in tons of colors on The Royal Castle Shoppe
And, let's not forget how awesome the envelope board is!

Wanna win a Envelope Punch Board of your own??
Make sure you follow The Scrapbooking Queen Blog
and comment on her FB page too {HERE}

Wanna see what I made?  Of COURSE you do!

I loved all of the little tags that come in the 8x8 Cosmo Minideck.  The made such a cute addition to my little book!

I was able to use the envelope board to create pockets in the top of all my pages.  It gave me twice the amount of space to stick pictures and journaling (when I fill this baby up!)

I was so easy to make a quirky little album using this collection!  Every paper was unique, but also coordinated so well together!

Wanna get in on some super cute Cosmo Cricket action?  Hop on over to the Royal Castle Shoppe and request and invite (everybody gets accepted!) and you can start shopping!  There are so many awesome things in the shop right now!
