My first TOMIC entry: A Pirate’s Life for Me

If you are looking for the Guest DT project, go here.

Hello there! I am posting my first TOMIC entry and boy was it time-consuming to put one of these things together! But, I am very happy with the results!

Isn’t it so cute? I colored Tilda and Edwin with a lot of restraint in the hopes that I would get “higher” highlights. Here are some close-ups:

Tip for Top Tip: Use embossing folders and then cut them apart to create cool elements like water:

I am so happy with the way the this texture fade looks used for the ship deck that T&E are sitting on. Smile

Stamps: Pirate Tilda and Edwin and Pirate booty by Magnolia, Lighthouse from Tiddly Inks, and Pirate Flag from Little Scraps of Heaven | Colored with Copics | Tim Holtz Perfect Pearls spray | Embossing: Tim Holtz texture fade and Cuttlebug swirls | Pearls: Recollections | Pirate Ship and oval Porthole frame created in MTC | Cardstock: BBP, DCWV, and Recollections | Buttons and netting: Stash
