Well, when my mom told me she needed a card to congratulate her friend I immediately though of this design.  I knew I had a MKC file that was a cute little house and I thought it would pair up so cute with my embossing folder of Birds on a Wire.

If you want more info and pictures of this card, please visit the Miss Kate Cuttables blog!

Miss Kate Cuttables + Xyron Blog Hop!!!

Hello everyone!! Here today with a super cute project featuring Miss Kate cuttables sister company, Out On A Limb Scrapbooking and our SERIOUSLY generous sponsor - Xyron!

Now, EVERYBODY knows what Xyron does best - they make awesome, innovative, and useful tools to apply all that wonderful STICKY stuff to all your craft projects!  You may NOT know that our sister company - Out On a Limb Scrapbooking is a scrapbooking layout kit company!  They provide pre-cut, pre-designed layouts for you to put together and add your own twist!

When I received my layout kit I was so excited to put it together!  The little characters that Miss Kate creates are so CUTE and the whole kit was so easy to put together using my Xyron X 2.5" sticker maker.

I ran all my leaves and small pieces through the X to apply edge-to-edge adhesive.  I even used it to add my journaling strips:

Even though you could put your layout together exactly like it is originally designed OR you can change it up a little bit!  I used some Action Wobbles to make the heads of the cute little characters interactive - FUN!!

Here is a picture of my finished layout (click for a larger photo!)
