Britt Bass here to bring you a spooky wall hanging I made using ;the Eek-a-Boo collection from DCWV. (There're lots of goodies from this collection in the prize pack!)
This skull embellishment is actually from a DCWV wall embellishment home dec package (meant for sticking directly on the wall). I cut those cute little apothecary bottles from a piece of the Eek-a-Boo paper.
This whole project was inspired by the two boot shaped cut-outs that were carrier packaging for two pairs of boot socks I'd purchased last year. I covered them with paper, created the lace-up detail and added the fabric ruffle.
I added a golden glitter to paper to the nose and eyes of the skull and put a spooky title above the embellishments.
I love how this turned out. I know it's an idea that's been done before, but I think the heeled boots and all the glittery accents give it a modern twist.
